Twilight...

Journal Entry: Mon Aug 18, 2008, 8:36 AM
What a bad idea it was for me to pick this book up the other day.... I'm having trouble putting it back down....

So while shopping the other day I saw the book Twilight on the shelf at wally world and decided to pick it up. I know that there is a movie version coming out in November that I am going to see so I wanted to see what the fuss was about with the book. Bad idea..... For the past two nights I've stayed up past 3 reading it... this is bad because I have far to much work to finish this month. lol

I had forgotton how much I enjoy reading, for at least the past 2 years I have been focusing on working more than anything else. I've also watched far to much television and had lost my desire to sit down for hours at a time and read. It is kind of nice to have discovered the love for it again. I'm the girl who used to stay up all night in high school reading, and then suffer through the next day yawning my fool head off, ha ha

So I am forcing myself to put away the glorious work of fiction and concentrate on working today. I have actually accomplished quite a lot on getting the graphic novel I'm working on colored by the end of the month. So I shall continue on, I suppose having the book here will be good motivation to get a lot accomplished today so that I can read some more tonight.

I love Doctor Who! I've really only watched the new series, the one that started with Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor and currently features David Tennant as the Doctor. I've always been into sci fi so the show is just something I really enjoy. Though I've been told by friends and family that I have odd taste in television and movies, lol The only person I've converted so far into a Who fan is my older sister, so we watch it together. I will say that I think I prefer David Tennant as the Doctor, the 2nd season is my favorite so far. So if it just started for you I'd say keep watching. The first episode of the show is a little bit odd, with the living plastic people, the effects just look rather cheap but it gets much better from there. Actually the first season features one of my favorite story lines it is a 2 parter starting with the episode The Empty Child. Wow, see what you did, get me talking about my favorite show and I write a book, lol

now that you tell me i think i have missed a lot of episodes cuz it here airs on night and it started while i was reading eclipse and breaking dawn so last time i checked it was with David Tenant so im a little late on the episodes
